This picture shows aboriginal life before colonisation. The picture shows five aboriginal children and an adult aboriginal in their hut. The adult aboriginal is asleep while the children are sitting inside the hut talking or maybe playing with each other. They are all sitting or lying around a small campfire that they have made with sticks and parts of bush. The hut seems to be made of straw and sticks and it is surrounded by green shrubbery and trees. The aboriginal people seemed to be happy and peaceful before Europeans settled in Australia.
This picture shows aboriginal life before European colonisation. The picture shows the aboriginal people hunting kangaroos in the bush for their meal. The aboriginal people are hunting with spears. I presume that the aboriginal people have lit fires so the kangaroos come out of the bush so they are easier to kill. The aboriginals are not dressed in very much. The aboriginal people are dressed in only a cloth covering their areas and are hunting shirtless. This is proof that the aboriginal people were happier before the Europeans came to Australia.
In this picture it shows aboriginal life after European colonisation. The aboriginals are dressed in ripped rags and cloth. They are sitting in the dirt and they are surrounded by beer and wine bottles. They are also washing their rags in a bucket on the street whilst European settlers walk around the streets. Also the aboriginal people are wearing nothing or near to nothing whilst the Europeans are fully dressed. This shows that the aboriginal’s lives were normal until the European settlers came to Australia.
This picture shows the aboriginal people sitting outside a European settler’s property as they may have been their slaves. The aboriginals are wrapped up in sheets and are dressed in jackets. The aboriginals are smoking which they probably found or were given to by the Europeans. They also have a baby and a small dog with them as well. The aboriginals are lying near a circle of rocks and they are laying on pieces of rag or sitting on the dirt and grass outside the Europeans house. These pictures show that the aboriginal people had happy life until the Europeans settled in Australia.
